Please note - We currently offer FREE door-to-door delivery to the following suburbs in Northern & Southern Johannesburg:

Alan Manor, Bassonia, Benmore Gardens, Booysens, Chrisville, Crown Gardens, Eastcliff, Eastgate, Forest Hill, Gillview, Glenanda, Gleneagles, Glenvista, Kibler Park, Liefde En Vrede, Linmeyer, Melrose, Meyersdal, Mondeor, Morningside, Mulbarton, Oakdene, Ridgeway, Rivonia, Robertsham, Sandhurst, Sandown, Sandringham, Sandton, Saxonwold, Southdale, Suideroord, Townsview, Wierda Valley, Winchester Hills

The delivery charge will automatically calculate as R0.00 when you checkout if your address entered displays one of the suburbs listed above.

Post office (counter collection)

This is the most economical way of receiving your parcel. Selecting this option means that your parcel will be delivered to your nearest post office counter from where you will need to collect. You must therefore supply a valid postal address at the time of placing your order. A flat rate of R 35 is charged for post office deliveries.

Delivery can take up to 7 working days from date of despatch (please note: this is the date that your order is despatched to you from our offices and not the date from which your order is placed).

Please note that postal deliveries could often be affected / delayed due to activities outside of our control e.g. Strike action. In such cases, Birds 'n Bees cannot be held liable for the delay.

Selecting this option means that your parcel will be delivered to your door. You must supply a physical address where someone will be available to receive your parcel.

A flat rate of R 65* is charged for Courier deliveries.

Delivery can take 2 - 4 working days from date of despatch (please note: this is the date that your order is despatched to you from our offices and not the date from which your order is placed).

*Regional & Remote Areas: Please note that regional / remote areas are considered to be long distance and/or high risk areas and are charged at premium rates (up to R250). Should you live on a farm or remote / outlying region, we may contact you to adjust your courier delivery fee. Should you require delivery to a remote region / farm, we highly recommended you choose the post office counter collection option for your optimal cost benefit, however, should you prefer the Courier option, please do not hesitate to contact us before placing your order to confirm the delivery fee that will be charged on your order. This will avoid us having to contact you to arrange any additional payments.

All orders will only be despatched once payment reflects in our bank account.
Items that are held in stock will be shipped within 24 hours. Items that are not held in stock may take longer. Should any part of your order need to be ordered in, your order will only be despatched once the full order is filled.

We request that you allow 3 - 10 working days for delivery from the date payment is received by us.

Some products that are imported from international suppliers could take up to 6 weeks to be delivered. These items will be indicated as such on our website and will shipped as soon as they become available.
Please always enquire telephonically or by email before you place your order should you wish to know more about a specific item's in-stock status should you require it urgently.

Parcels are shipped according to the delivery method selected by you upon checkout.
We use either the post office 'ordinary parcel' option or a reliable courier service who will deliver to you between 8am and 5pm, Monday - Friday. We do not ship to postal boxes if you choose to select the courier delivery option.
You are most welcome to contact us should you wish to arrange an alternative delivery method e.g. collection for which there is no additional charge.

Should you provide incorrect delivery details or there is nobody available to receive your parcel at the time of delivery, this will result in your parcel being returned to our offices. You will be contacted to re-schedule your delivery and you will incur a delivery fee again. Birds 'n Bees will not be held responsible for parcels signed for at the delivery address provided.
